the almost angel VS the flaming demon

Lygia was flying over a forest, making sure to keep close to the trees to prevent being seen -as Lygia had found people tend to be quite disconcerted by a flying girl- when she came across a large grassy plain. Perfect if she wanted to take a break, but not a good place to go if you didn't want to be seen, too open. She lands near the edge and retracts her wings, walking out onto the field.
(I'm using field and plain pretty much interchangeably, would there be anything wrong about that?)

Talon followed the girl through the forest, looking up at her as she remembered what her orders were. A rather shady dude with a strange presence gave her the assassination orders, but people of that type gave assassination orders all the time. She was told to take out someone with angel wings and this girl seemed to fit that description. Walking into the plains, she aimed her pistol at her and fired.

Lygia hears the gun being fired and dodges by quickly rolling to the side (a dodge-roll), then turns around swiftly bringing her bow to bare while on one knee and firing a shot at full power, resulting in an explosion equitable to that of a small bomb in Talon's vicinity. Lygia then begins summoning Bahamut to her side, intending to use the time she believes that her attacker would be distracted by the explosion to call some help.

Talon jumped away from the explosion, feeling it burn her coat a bit as she looked at her opponent. "I really need to get a fireproof one sometime," she said, shaking her head a bit before running toward her target, sword in hand.

"Tsk" Lygia scoffs when she notices Talon running at her sword in hand. She had hoped that the arrow would buy her at least a little time to summon something. "Well, no matter." she thinks to herself, unwilling to be beaten by someone rude enough to attack a complete stranger for no reason. She spreads her wings and takes to the skies, flying quickly to put some distance between her and the sword of her opponent.

Talon looked up at her as she flew into the air, charging explosive force energy into her hand and jumping up, releasing it under her to send her flying up toward her target, swinging her blade at her.

(wait, Talon can't fly? I thought she flew in the last fight. Hmm.)
Lygia deftly evades the swing, being in her comfort zone now. There were few who could best her in a match of flight, and a simple sword slash is easy to dodge when you can fly under and around it. Lygia flies away quickly, bringing her bow to bare and firing several arrows at Talon, most of them near or at full strength.
(I need to take everything into consideration and actually make a definite max flight speed for her, because as it stands, I just know she's fast, especially for a human sized flyer.)

(I don't think she flew in the last RP. Been thinking of giving her demon wings, but I think doing the rocket jump thing is crazier and cooler)
Talon spun in the air and discharged explosive energy to send herself flying toward Lygia, putting her sword on her back and firing her guns straight at her, spinning her pistols in between shots just because she could.

Lygia does a loop backwards, then launches herself downwards at incredible speeds, flying just above the ground before rising back upwards, firing energy arrows sporadically at Talon, often at or close to full strength. Lygia was nowhere near finished yet.

Talon wasn't nearly done yet either, firing blasts of demonic energy at her energy arrows to blow them out of the air, or out of existence, either one. She blew herself toward her with her sword in hand.

Lygia begins flying straight upwards at high speeds, beginning the chant used to summon Bahamut (the dragon god-king) while folding her hands as if she were praying. During her flight, she begins spinning in place repeatedly, performing several dozen 360 degree spins. in her flight, she truly did look like an angel, despite her ebony wing of darkness.

Talon blew herself upward with her energy blasts, flying straight past her and even poking her with her tail in midair. She didn't even turn around before firing herself backwards with the energy blast, holding her sword pointed behind her.

But she finishes! Lygia completes the summoning chant, calling forth the great Bahamut, who flies down at incredible speeds, snatching Lygia out of the air before Talon's blade can pierce her flesh! "Thank you." Lygia says, although she would likely have been able to dodge the blade before it could do anything more than nick her. Bahamut flies to the ground and gently sets his summoner down before beginning to charge up an immense blast of something akin to magic or flame, preparing to launch his great attack: the Mega Flare!

Talon landed on the ground, looking on at Bahamut with a shrug. "Cute pet," she said as she aimed her pistol at it, making a "pew" noise with her mouth. She tilted her head when she saw it charging some sort of attack, prepared to move out of the way.

Bahamut unleashes the grand attack Mega-Flare, an enormous ball of flame accompanied by a direct magic strike that creates an explosion similar to a nuke preceding the landing of the flame blast, which explodes with even greater vehemence! The Mega-Flare attack had not failed the great Bahamut even once, and always annihilated its target with one attack, but they were not in his world, and its laws did not necessarily apply here. Lygia backs up the attack with a volley of arrows, all at full strength.
