Dead-Troid Universe

Talon blinked when he saw the tentacle draw him, following the tentacle with the idea that it will lead him to whatever is leading these things. And because he didn't bring enough explosives to take out that marker.

As Roan is drawn farther away from the Marker he begins changing, returning to the way he was before. It appears that direct exposure to Marker power warps Roan's mind, reverting him to his old state more and more the closer he gets to the marker. Effectively, it causes him to go a different kind of insane. But that didn't matter to him now, he could think more clearly, and he was angry, NO ONE grabbed him like this. And if something did, he didn't let it live. He let loose his plasma line upon the tentacle arm, slicing it down the middle and exploding several of it's weaker joints. Unfortunately, the tentacle had drawn him close to the hull, and his plasma line not only sliced the arm, but the ship's protective casing. Before the energy shield could be re-established, Roan was sucked into the vacuum of space, left in the icy cold. And unharmed. However, his trip was not over, he was grabbed by the gravity of the nearby planet which the Marker had been retrieved from, and began plummeting to the planet's surface; the most he could do was control his descent a bit, direction and to an extent speed. He wasn't escaping the planet, or the Marker's influence THAT easy.

Talon watched him get sucked out of the ship, gripping the wall tightly to hold himself on. "Well that's some shit. Where are the explosives on this ship?" he telepathied to him.

"There aren't any. People learned after the BSL incident. If you want the station blown up, I suggest you..." Roan tries to communicate, but before he can finish, he finds himself undergoing reentry without a ship. Not comfortable, even if he can withstand massive amounts of heat, reentry is a lot more than temperature, and when you are the boat, having the boat rocked isn't exactly the thing you want to have happen. So while under the intense stress of blasting through the planet's atmosphere, he loses the ability to telecommunicate (temporarily).
(I'm going to bed now. It's kind of late, so...yeah. Sorry to leave after this post, but my mind has been muddled for a while now.)

Talon shrugged when he lost the link. "Guess I'll come up with my own plan. I could just use the planet crackers on my ship to take out this station...But I think it'll wipe out a lot more of these things if we do it in a much more explodey way," he said, using his neural interface link to activate the self destruct system on Hyperion SR2, sending it toward the station with a timer of 10 minutes. He then sprints for Killer Queen, going straight through a ton of necromorphs before hopping in and flying out, 30 seconds afterward the capital ship collides with the station and detonates, sending debris of both ships down to the surface of the planet.

Roan, quickly approaching the surface, suddenly flipped so that he would be right-side up when landing, activating his boots plasma thrusters and fighting the speed with his levitation power, slowing his descent to reasonable levels. Unfortunately, that did nothing against the fact that he was surrounded by Necromorphs as soon as he landed, all having died long ago, and none being human. What did solve that problem was the fact that after landing, he activated and spread his wings, pristine white since he had no Ragnarok flowing there. Once spread, he launched hundreds of white and yellow energy-lances, one per feather, all landing on or near a necromorph. This killed most of the ones surrounding him, and some that were fairly far removed from his position.

Talon looked on at the burning debris heading down toward the planet, and figured since it was going the same place he was going, and he always wanted to try this, he jumped from his fighter and landed feet-first on a solid piece of debris, riding it down toward the planet despite his suit warning him against heat. He had a hazard shield coupled with a suit based off Varia technology yet it still felt the need to warn him. He landed on the planet near Roan, kicking the molten piece of debris at a crowd of necromorphs, destroying them.

Roan raises an eyebrow as Talon descends and lands next to him, then lightly shrugs. As the debris rains down, the marker, still intact, falls to the ground and crushes several more necromorphs. When the Marker lands, Roan begins to scowl, not liking the affects it had on his mind. He begins preparing to strike it with a large ball of phazon plasma, but it is suddenly lifted up by a giant tentacle attached to something akin to the space-butts that clung to the hull of the Ishimura. "What...The...Fuck." Roan says, not being able to comprehend something so stupid looking being an enemy in the boss category (He's comparing this to a video-game situation).
