Gene X-13A7 VS Talon Vance

"Shit," Talon said as she noticed the acid melting through the floor. She screamed as one of the acid things hit her, burning her skin and ruining the rest of the clothing she was wearing. She set herself on fire to try to burn off the acid, firing pistol shots at him as she kept trying to get out of the acid.

Gene kept dodging the shots, still spitting his acid at Talon and trying to create the crate around her. if she didn't dodge anymore, he would win, if she kept dodging, the crater would only get bigger, and eventually it would reach the biomatter that the xenomorphs made their homes out of, and it would quickly pool, making it impossible to escape without getting so severely burned by the acid that it would prevent further movement. and then it would be a quick kill.

The acid managed to hit her, severely burning her face to the point that parts of her skull could be seen, causing her to scream in pain as the rest of the acid hit her, making her fall on her knees. "F-fuck," she tried to say, but couldn't due to only having half a mouth now as she tried to charge a huge firewave, wanting to take out the creature with her.

Something Gene hadn't thought of happened though, the spots he had been hitting were not covered on the bottom with biomatter, and were in fact part of one of the few, two to be exact, main support structures. he was able to see that through the floor, so he began spitting acid directly at the ground around Talon, avoiding the fire narrowly most times, getting horribly burnt some. he did however manage to take out the support, which would cause the temple to collapse shortly. he ran as quickly as he could out of the temple of xenomorphs. if Talon Vance was healed by the time he took out the support, she would easily be able to escape just after him, with seconds to spare before the collapse reached critical.

Talon's skin regenerated a bit, to the point where she now has a full face now(Though burned). She noticed he was running, wondering exactly why as she felt the ground starting to become unstable. She ran through the acid around her, jumping over it if possible as she tried to escape the temple.

Talon would escape, but with only seconds to spare before the temple began a complete collapse, which would have trapped her, though not killed her immediately.
